A commercial house cleaner had noticed a few rotten weatherboards on the north wall of my 1874 cottage; my regular builder was busy, I had a sense of urgency and Jason, recommended by another builder, had a gap in his diary. Jason was systematic in his investigation of the work that needed to be done and was very happy to accept a conservation architect being involved in the project for my peace of mind. The architect agreed with the proposals that Jason recommended and continued to be impressed by the way he undertook the work. More areas requiring some major structural work were revealed as the weeks went by, but Jason’s team worked systematically and efficiently, installing high spec insulation as they went, for a very successful outcome.
